The 2018 Subaru WRX is an awesome wagon.
And the best part about it is that it’s built on a new platform.
I mean, I’m sure the brand would love to have a car that looks like this, but if the goal is to make that wagon more attractive, the best way to do that is to keep the same platform that’s been around for a while.
There are a lot of advantages to having a brand-new platform, and one of them is that you can do everything on it.
The new platform means you get more space in the trunk, a redesigned roofline, and a whole lot more.
And for those of us who grew up with the platform, it’s just a huge leap forward.
If you’re wondering what the heck that new platform looks like, it looks like something out of a sci-fi film, and it’s not too difficult to identify what’s inside.
First up is the trunk.
With the previous platform, the trunk was a massive mess.
When I first got my WRX, I was annoyed by the way it was overflowing with stuff.
Even now, after about 10 years, I still find it hard to take a seat.
That’s because the car has more space than a lot more people can fit into it.
And because of this, the interior feels cramped, as opposed to the spaciousness of the previous generation.
So the new platform is filled with new features.
On top of that, the front seats are now padded, and they’re very comfortable.
Another thing that’s changed is the way that the doors open.
Instead of having a sliding panel, which was standard, the doors have a door latch, which means you have to take the steering wheel out to open them.
But with the new door latch system, the door latch doesn’t just open automatically.
Instead, it opens automatically by pushing the keypad.
It’s much more convenient than sliding the door back in and out of its position.
You can also see that the car’s already got a new infotainment system.
It has four touchscreens, including a rear-view camera, a rearview camera with two sensors, and more.
A couple of years ago, the company had to do a major redesign of the car, which made it easier for people to use.
But the brand did manage to retain the same amount of space, so there’s no reason not to do the same thing with the 2019 model.
